Aaj Ka AQI
July 17: Aaj Ka AQI outside the new Parliament building
The Parliament had passed a slew of measures in its winter session last year to tackle air pollution in the country, including the capital, Delhi.
However, since the last Parliament session and the upcoming monsoon session that will start on July 21, Delhi’s air has been less than ideal. Newlaundry has been regularly tracking the progress of these measures through its Fight to Breathe campaign.
For this episode of Aaj Ka AQI, Newslaundry reached the new Parliament building, where the AQI at 84 fell in the satisfactory category. Will the Parliament’s monsoon session yield better ways to tackle the rising pollution in the city? Watch to find out.
