Aaj Ka AQI
March 16, 2026: Delhi breathes ‘good’ air, but not due to policy
In today’s episode of Aaj Ka AQI, our air quality monitor recorded an AQI of around 40 in Sarvodaya Enclave, which falls in the “good” category — something we rarely see in the city.
But there’s a catch. This improvement didn’t come from any major government intervention but due to rainfall. In fact, this February was the worst in three years for Delhi’s air.

Watch this episode of Aaj Ka AQI to see the numbers and understand what’s really happening with Delhi’s air.
