Rubika Liyaquat quits News18 India, Sushant Sinha leaves Times Now Navbharat

Rubika Liyaquat has stepped down as consulting editor at News18 India, ending a two-year stint during which she fronted the channel’s flagship debate show Goonj and other programmes.

Sushant Sinha has left Times Now Navbharat, where he hosted News Ki Pathshala, Newslaundry has learnt.

According to sources, Liyaquat may join Times Now Navbharat, where she is expected to take over the prime-time slot vacated by Sinha. Sources also claim that Sinha may move to News18 India to replace her.

Sinha refused to comment on the move. Attempts to reach out to Liyaquat for comment were unsuccessful.

Liyaquat began her career in 2007 with Live India and later worked with News24 and Zee News, where she rose to prominence as the host of Taal Thok Ke. In 2018, she joined ABP News and became a familiar face through Master Stroke. She moved to Bharat24 in 2022 as Vice President and anchor, before joining News18 India in 2024.

Sinha was part of the launch team of Times Now Navbharat in 2021. He has previously worked with NDTV and India TV.
