TV Newsance 346 | Ram Mandir scam, MP land grab and TV’s fake teachers
This week on TV Newsance, the biggest hera pheri was not just in Ayodhya, Madhya Pradesh, or the education system. It was also on prime-time TV. Rubika Liyaquat and Sushant Sinha have swapped channels, and somehow both landed in the same profession: playing news teachers. Rubika now has News Ki Pathshala, Sushant has Desh Ki Pathshala.
While our TV teachers were busy taking class, the real Education Minister of India was busy calling protesting students “terrorists” and “tukde-tukde gang”. Because why fix paper leaks, NEET mess, university funding, or research standards when you can just paste an old label on angry students?
Meanwhile, Rubika is struggling to fit in her new role, whereas Sushant is old at this game. From making her poor producers students in her new show, scolding them when they fail to answer questions, to doing inaccurate “science experiments”, it is the same bullshit packaged in a brand new format. But one thing that has not changed with the two is their devotion to the Government, be it the Lucknow fire incident where 15 people lost their lives or the money theft in Ram Mandir.
