Are we Indians an intrinsically racist lot?
A 21-year old female Tanzanian student faced mob fury in vigilante justice which allegedly striped her and paraded her naked, after a Sudanese driving a car in an alleged drunken state struck a couple, killing a woman on the spot. Police have maintained it was a case of “mistaken identity” and racism was not involved. However, the Bangalore incident is one in a line of many which has exposed the racist attitude that Indians harbour.
