#OddEven is back as Delhi chokes on smog

With Delhi earning shame for its toxic smog, and citizens struggling to breathe for the third day on Thursday, the state government has finally decided to implement the odd-even formula from November 13 to 17.

The National Green Tribunal has reportedly banned construction and industrial activities in the Delhi-NCR region till November 14.

An air emergency has already been declared in the national capital, with schools shut, train and flight operations affected, parking fees raised and entry of most trucks prohibited.

Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote to the CMs of neighbouring Haryana and Punjab to find a solution to stubble-burning in their states, which is one of the factors causing the smog.
