#NLDhulai: ‘Please teach Abhinandan to take criticism positively’

Naaniji,

SaadharPranaam

Can you please teach Abhinandan to take criticism and points of view different from your his own positively.

As for Cyrus calling you a handsome on his podcast, the context was Amit (owner of IVM) attending Media Rumble. You should look at Cyrus’ podcast (completed 300 episodes recently) and get him on Hafta.

Now talking about context, poem controversy, Abhinandan uses context as a shield to hold onto when cornered. But forgotten that even the subscriber from Hafta 191 said that the whole poem was to be considered and it’s unfair to take 6 lines and call it sexist.

I am going to make a statement that I believe in but Abhinandansaheb will cringe. Mahatma Gandhi was the greatest politician in India not “the greatest man in India”. I would put Mandela way higher for being the man who believed in listening to the other side. He bought people together. Period, I will stop else Abhinandan will go on a rant. The reason said this is because there are a lot of things that you, Abhinandan are conservative, the sooner you accept the better.

On a different note, We subscribers write letters to you because we are interested to listen to see NL as the truly independent media. My personal view is that for the Media – the government and every other political party is the adversary. That is the only way you can be objective and unbiased.

I do have another beef, being in the UK, do you really expect me to get up @ 5.30 am for a chat box session. Why was there no poll. Or is it we poor UK subscribers are second class, the US ones are more important! Anyways it would make sense for you to have more than one session. And since it’s more or less a chat box session, you only need an internet connection and the NL team can do it from home unless there is a problem.

Anyways I have passed the word limit. I hope you guys understand.

Your reporting is brilliant and you cover issues others don’t. I was extremely impressed with the article: What they don’t tell you about the bad touch. Kalki (whom you dissed in A&A) had a podcast with Insiya Dariwala on the issue. I would suggest that as a good hear.

For the spiritual folks – Do listen to ‘The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell’ ….. It’s 30 years old but still relevant.

Best Regards,

Dhiraj.
