#NLDhulai: ‘Your panel has become imbalanced and myopic’
Dear Newslaundry team,
I am an MBA student at Delhi University, and have been a subscriber for almost three years now. I have been following Newslaundry since the initial episodes of Dhobhi Ghat and Clothesline and have made it a point over these years to recommend your channel to my friends and colleagues, nagging them to subscribe.
The reason I am writing a mail to you guys for the first time in so many years of being a subscriber, is, well the fact that I couldn’t sit through your last podcast and also a sense of the panel becoming an imbalanced one over the past couple of months. AnandRanganathan’s exit has obviously brought in a void, which has been pointed out before, leaving mostly just Anand Vardhan having divergent views from the rest of you, making the discussions sound a bit myopic, even though I usually agree with the stands Abhinadan and Madhu take.
About the last podcast, it sounded more like a chit-chat session, rather than being an organized and serious discussion, which usually it is. To be honest I have just heard the first 30 minutes of the podcast, and have paused to write this mail since it was getting annoying. Request you to please take notice of this, though this is the first time this has happened.
Apart from this , love the Newslaundry work and will continue nagging people to subscribe to you guys!
PS: Eagerly waiting for a new Clothesline episode 🙂
Thanks and Regards
Ekta Dwivedy.
