From drum waali Muskaan to ‘beauty parlour jihad’, while mainstream news channels have dedicated hours and hours of airtime to amplify sensationalist stories and communal rhetoric, how seriously have they taken up the issue of increasing air pollution?
For this episode of Aaj Ka AQI, Newslaundry visited Noida’s Film City, home to several news channels and outlets. The PM 2.5 level was around 55, while PM 10 was estimated to be at 63 on Thursday.
