Aaj Ka AQI
Aug 14, 2025: After downpour, Delhi gets respite from air pollution
The air quality in Delhi improved after heavy rains lashed the city on Thursday.
The AQI in several areas of the national capital was recorded in the satisfactory and moderate categories. According to the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), the AQI was 59 at Sri Aurobindo Marg, 90 at Siri Fort, 90 at RK Puram, 101 at Rohini, 102 at Okhla Phase-2, and 99 at Patparganj.
While this respite from pollution is due to the rains, the city cannot rely on such unpredictable factors to breathe cleaner air.
