September 15, 2025: After weeks of relief, Delhi’s AQI begins to worsen
For this episode of Aaj Ka AQI, Newslaundry visited the bus terminal in Trilokpuri, one of East Delhi’s most densely populated localities.
As the city heads into the months when pollution typically spikes, the air is already beginning to worsen.
Recent rains had kept much of Delhi’s air in the satisfactory range, but on Monday the nearest monitoring station recorded a moderate AQI – while Anand Vihar was already at 274, firmly in the “poor” category.
