Aaj Ka AQI
Nov 13, 2025: AQI ‘severe’, but many students without GRAP relief
In view of the worsening air quality in the national capital, the Delhi government earlier this week directed schools to conduct classes in hybrid mode for students up to class 5 amid GRAP restrictions. Other classrooms still insist on physical attendance.
So for this episode of Aaj Ka AQI, Newslaundry visited a prominent school in Sri Aurobindo Marg area, where the AQI was pegged at 433, or in the ‘severe’ category, as per the Delhi pollution control committee’s monitor. Readings by IQAir, meanwhile, pegged the AQI at 537.
Delhi’s overall air quality continues to hover near 300.
