Palki Sharma Upadhyay, the face of WION news channel, quits: Report

Palki Sharma Upadhyay, the face of WION TV news channel, resigned from the channel on Friday, Exchange 4 Media reported.

Palki has been a journalist for over 20 years and has worked with CNN-IBN, Hindustan Times and Doordarshan in the past. Citing unnamed sources, Exchange 4 Media reported that she announced her resignation as WION managing editor and anchor during a meeting with the team in the afternoon.

She’ll reportedly host the last installment of her primetime show Gravitas tonight on WION, where she has been since 2017.
