June 12, 2025: Road dust outside road research institute
The Central Road Research Institute recently signed a memorandum of understanding to work on reducing road dust. A report had found road dust to be contributing 42 percent to PM10 levels in Delhi.
There was road dust around the CRRI’s premises too when Newslaundry reached the spot on Thursday. The AQI at the nearest monitoring station was at 218, or in the poor category.
