Can You Take It Tunku Varadarajan?

Must he talk about things he does not know? Are journalists compelled to have an opinion on everything? He says Bush is right, but Hindus who react are wrong. Makes no sense to me, this double standard. MMS is nice, his over-niceness got the country where it is. Nobody should be overnice, not even Hindus. The self preservation instinct must kick in at the right time. I suggest that both the interviewer and the interviewee check out this site: http://www.newageislam.com. The site is well intentioned, run by a harmony-seeking man. But the news collations it does daily on events around the muslim world, taken together, create a chilling scenario. As do the comments on articles. I would recommend that Ms Trehan invite Sultan Shahin, the promoter of this site, for a tete-a-tete.

1. Madhu Trehan has absolutely no clue about either Hindutva or the ideology professed by the RSS and the BJP. Also, Madhu needs to cool down her rabid obsession with Modi, and her frustrated anger at the millions of Indians (especially those of us on Twitter) who are not as blinkered and/or intellectually-challenged as herself or some of our other pseudo-secular pseudo-liberal pseudo-intellectual “journalists” (aka Congress-paid hacks). And yes, Tunku definitely needs to stop giving judgements on issues and facts he has absolutely no knowledge of. It’s not like Gujarat 2002 were the only communal riots that ever happened in post-independence (or even pre-independence) India. Who was responsible for the other 99.9% of communal riots in India? The same party that has “appropriated” this “religion” and all its “symbols” and “animals” and “colours” and “flowers”? And for the last time, anybody who calls Gujarat 2002 a “pogrom” or a “genocide” or an “ethnic cleansing” seriously needs to stop reading/watching (Congress-controlled) Indian mainstream media and introduce himself to some FACTS instead. (LOL, and this is the guy who was going on and on about “fact-checking”.)

2. What animal, colour or flower has anybody appropriated?! The cow has been sacred to Indians for millennia, and a “cow protection sangh” was one of the 5 sanghs into which Mahatma Gandhi himself wanted to break the Indian National Congress into, after disbanding it post-independence as mentioned in the last constitutional resolution he was drafting for the Congress, that later came to be called his “last will and testament”. Sometimes I wonder if these pseudo-liberal pseudo-secularists Gandhi-worshippers have even done so much as to read Gandhi’s works — I bet, if Madhu Trehan and Sagarika Ghose even *read* Gandhi’s works, they would lose no time in branding him a “non-secular” “communal” “Internet Hindu” “Modi supporter”, LOL. Anyway, so if the BJP is the only party that is still following Gandhi’s philosophies w.r.t. the protection of the cow, is that the fault of the BJP?! Similarly, only the BJP is willing to be associated with the lotus and the saffron colour because it is the only party that seeks to remain close to India’s civilizational ethos and not sell out for western-imported symbols. So if the BJP is the only nationalistic party that seeks to protect (and ensure continuing flourishing of) Indian cultural heritage, is that the fault of the BJP?!

3. In fact, Madhu Trehan asked the exactly opposite question to the one she *should* have asked. No, the RSS and the BJP have NOT appropriated Hindutva or the symbols and names of India’s Dharmic philosophies. It is in fact the Congress and other pseudo-secular political parties that have misappropriated the word “secularism” all for themselves, even while conveniently dressing up the worst kind of communalism as “secularism”, and labelling anybody (read: the BJP) whom they want to keep out of power as “communal” and “non-secular” for the sake of continuing electoral votes and political power.

But then, in the completely-removed-from-reality-on-the-ground-in-India world of Delhi’s pseudo-intellectual pseudo-liberal circles, I guess Madhu Trehan finds it necessary to flaunt her “secular” credentials … and as we all know, there is only one way to do that — by bashing the scapegoat for everybody’s inner-racist-guilt-complex, Narendra Modi.

is this man for real. He says that if 9/11 had happened in India, it would have seen massive retaliation. We have been victim of several 9/11 till uncle Sam’s country realised that terrorism is not a myth. After each terror attack in india, the country is back on its feet the next day.
