Newslaundry Interviews Aman Sethi

I can’t resist this thought which occurred to me while listening to this interview with a lot of hangover from such erstwhile episodes. i find today’s media working knowingly or unknowingly on the lines of gramsci’s idea of hegemony. they are either playing the caretaker of status quo to the fallouts of one form of economic growth or are rather reinforcing it. i put current INDIAN media in the bracket of PETTY BOURGEOISIE WITH INTENTIONAL IGNORANCE OF THEIR STATUS AND FUTURE. The difference they carry is only to the extent of endless efforts to still alienate themselves from those lower to them with day dreaming of REVERSE CONCLUSION THAN OF MARX. . This is amazing to hear when people who claim to be intellectually sound are unaware of the well founded, COMMON SENSE BASED and OBVIOUS difference between lyrical line of journalism and a book . THAT WAS ONE OF THE MOST ANNOYING QUESTION I HEARD because it ended with foolish submission by interviewer of no difference between both. I think issue is not related to whether an inclination can be located in aman sethi kind of journalists for halting the process of pasteurization or not but just a display of it is MOST INHUMANE in its basic premises. i found some of his views(likes his admission to carrying ignorance of the fact till date that media is not only modem of communication and that misplaced context of civil engineering etc) utterly rubbish which he has inculcated as corollary of STEPHENS kind of mental disease. the problem with most new media borrowers are that when they come out of their SECLUSIVE SELF CLAIMED HIGH CLASS RAT HOUSES (thanks to some project) and see indian masses then they start writing books on “THEM” and thinks to intrude in domains of those credible grassroot workers who give damn to people of like aman sethi. i respect later category and can despise the earlier as they are nothing but a TO- BE-OR NOT-TO BE status quoists of hegemony. very very bad.THIS IS A CLEVAGE WHICH IS NEITHER CASTE BASED NOR CLASS BASED BUT A DELIBERATE EXTENSION OF A PUNCTURED POINT with the obvious intentions of cementing it on the parts of pseudo intellects of aman sethi types. AND NO WORDS FOR M. DHILLON. She very well fits into the category of sagarika ghosh, so not worth commenting.
