crap, this fellow is didactic, boring. villages neglected …..blah so naxals. alright they took up guns, what’s next? how are they going to develop these villages? what’s their real political objective? when naxal movement was at peak in AP their areas of operations are towns, villages and jungles are their hiding places. does every one in those tribal villages is a naxal follower? last week they killed villagers in AP for questioning their activities. the quality of media in india gives me a chill down my spine.

This interview is so sober and so sane that it does not make a difference whether one sees it or not.

Very nice interview. Akash openly come up with the issues facing to the broadcasting media. Being part of the same industry and being not diplomatic seems to be quite a well balanced. i agree with him that we need to go away with the 9 p.m debates, easy way of journalism. The problem is that since every day you need panelist to discussed something or the other, the quality of panelist day by day becoming worst. In Regional media its terrible. ALso, Abhinandan did a good job, i really enjoyed the interview.

Two pseudo intellectuals trying to prove who is smarter. The anchor is absolutely wanna be and then there is the idiot called Akash. Nobody remembers his Times Now stint. At Headlines Today, same. If they are the anchors and reporters who will comment like these in future as well, my TV is switched off

& blurb at the back… includes Sagarika Ghose?? that certainly is a tell tale in itself… ;-)

Banerjee’s decibel level even in this sedate interview is close to 9’o clock panel debate. Such journos want to blame low quality TV news on consumers, whereas the truth is that this is what they are capable of.

  • vikas awasthi

ashutosh is a bad anchor and speaker.

  • phoney

“little blurbs at the back by…”, the satire !

  • Aparna

Refreshing to see comments on media houses very openly with names! Usually we see in interviews where we hear generic statements like media houses are biased and media is crooked but good to see a honest open interview.

Interesting interview. Thoughts expressed by Akash Banerjee are reflective of the poor quality stuff on Times Now.
