Football club Delhi Dynamos, the national capital’s representatives in Indian Super League (ISL), plays its home matches at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Going by its acts, though, the club would feel right at home at the Rungrado May Day Stadium. FYI, that’s in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang.

Its latest act of highhandedness? Blocking a sports journalist on Twitter. His crime? Questioning why the team’s official handle had equated its boss with Luis Figo, a bona fide legend of the beautiful game, on the night of the Euro 2016 final that Portugal, the national team that Figo represented, won.

After legitimately questioning the ‘legendary’ status of Dynamos president Prashant Agarwal, Sumil Sudhakaran, a sports journalist with Hindustan Times, suggested that the club is using its handle to promote its owners.

Within hours, the journalist found himself blocked on Twitter.
