This week we look at Sudhir Chaudhary’s hriday parivartan towards the protesting farmers. Well, almost! The benevolence fades out quickly as Sudhir rehashes an old trope to serve a new piping hot conspiracy on “Khalistani funding” for the farmer protests.
We also look at India Today’s soft romantic music infused video story, sponsored by the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, about farmers who have benefitted from selling their produce in the open market under the new laws. These happy farmers, it turns out, are the same ones mentioned in a document that central minister Prakash Javadekar’s media manager had sent out to multiple journalists as “success stories”.
