On April 22, Newslaundry's Tanishka Sodhi joined subscribers on our Discord server to talk about her report on the con artist who married over 20 women and the woman who brought about his downfall.
Tanishka explained that even the police were "shocked" by the "scale of things, and how elaborate the scam was".
"He used the emotions of women," she said of Ramesh Swain, "and their vulnerabilities and just sort of what society expects women to do."
