This week, we saw Arnab Goswami cheer as we found that the NCERT has made key changes to political science and history textbooks, a story broken by the ‘Innndian’ Express. Certain chapters and parts related to Mughal history were removed from these books, which led Arnab to ask why anybody would even want to know about them?

In this episode we take a deeper dive into what specific parts  were removed from the textbooks, what these changes mean, and why they matter. We also take a look at what the official and unofficial spokespersons of the governing party have said about the Mughals in the past. While Arnab was finding innovative ways to take a dig at the Indian Express, the internet was flooded with memes and cartoons.
