While talking about Dancing On The Grave:
Nainika: What’s the best true crime documentary you’ve ever watched?
Rajyasree: I’ve watched so many...I have a problem.
Nainika: OK so what makes for a good true crime documentary?
Rajyasree: I love cult leaders. I find it fascinating that people are so desperate to be loved and accepted...they will believe the wildest things that someone will tell them, which, even if you have an iota of brain power, you’d stop and say, ‘This is not sounding logical to me.’...like Scientology.
Nainika: It’s very clearly people who psychologically have no control over their own life...They relinquish it to somebody else. And yes, Scientology is the most insane cult...
Rajyasree: Also think of the kind of people who are part of Scientology. Tom Cruise...also explains why Will Smith is a little cuckoo.
Nainika: Rajyasree, if Scientology produced Tom Cruise then how bad can it really be?
Rajyasree: Quite bad, actually!
Both burst out laughing.
This and a whole lot of stuff Awful and Awesome as Rajyasree Sen and Nainika Singh Rathore review the series Dead Ringers, the documentary Dancing On The Grave, the films Pinocchio and Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody, and James Corden’s latest Carpool Karaoke with Adele.
