The pop culture podcast that isn’t afraid to pop the bubble.
While discussing The Bear S2:
Rajyasree: The theme – of how lonely being a chef is – is scattered throughout the show. You can see it with the pastry chef in Copenhagen, and even Olivia Coleman’s character…
Manisha: However, I have beef with the pastry episode. Some of the desserts don’t look pretty. They have a weird green colour, which isn’t really edible?
Rajyasree: But it looked quite nice, super fancy.
Manisha: I was expecting more. If you’re going to Copenhagen, show us some nice cream and custard. They didn’t look pretty to me.
Rajyasree: (gasps) So sad!
Manisha: Or maybe I have sasta taste. I want basic cream and cheese…
Rajyasree: Like a cream roll?
(They burst out laughing.)
This and a whole lot of stuff awful and awesome as Rajyasree Sen and Manisha Pande review the movie Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the series The Bear, the documentary Wham!, and the trailers for Jawan and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
