M Sunitha Rao, who is the president of the Telangana Mahila Congress and an advocate at the Telangana High Court, is contesting the election in Hyderabad’s Goshamahal constituency against BJP’s T Raja Singh. While this is Sunitha’s debut, Raja Singh, who is known for making hate speeches and is booked in over 100 cases, has twice secured poll victory in Goshamahal.
In this conversation with TNM, Sunitha Rao talks about her campaign strategy, the six guarantees announced by the Congress in Telangana, and nexus between parties in Goshamahal. She is confident that the “mohabbat ki dukaan” will succeed against forces of hate.
