We are back with Newsance this week and guess who else is back on our TV screens? Our dear leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But perhaps he never left.

The usual suspects aired non-stop TV news on PM Modi throughout the week – from broadcasting his live speeches to discussing them on primetime. We also looked at what they said about the opposition leaders.

In other news, primetime news anchors continued to term the protesting farmers ‘andolanjeevis’ or serial protesters. But that wasn’t all. Godi media channels also continued their absurd coverage of the Sandeshkhali incident and the Chandigarh mayoral poll controversy.
