Baramati is one of the most-watched seats in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha election this year. The Pawar bastion – set to poll on May 7 – has turned into a battleground between the Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar factions.

Supriya Sule, a three-time Baramati MP and candidate of the senior Pawar faction, is contesting against her sister-in-law and Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra Pawar.

On the campaign trail in Jejuri, Sule spoke to Newslaundry about the big issues in Baramati, her party’s new election symbol, and if the poll will affect family ties.
