For this episode of Aaj Ka AQI, Newslaundry visited the Safdarjung Tomb, located at New Delhi's Lodhi Road.

The AQI recorded at the nearest CPCB air monitoring station was 50, which fell in the good category. PM2.5 and PM10 levels were recorded at 40 and 50.

Meanwhile, the Delhi government deferred its plan to implement a cloud-seeding project to August after receiving inputs from the IMD, IIT-Kanpur, and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology that July wasn't an ideal time to begin.

However, it is important to remember that artificial rain through cloud seeding is a stop-gap measure to combat pollution. Watch to find out why.
