During the paper leak protests at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar, NEET aspirant Harsh Dubey began appearing across media platforms to speak about reservation and challenge the Cockroach Janta Party’s approach. He soon became a talking point on social media, with pages such as ‘Aarakshan Hatao Andolan’ emerging in his support.

In an interview with Newslaundry, Dubey says he is not opposed to reservation but wants reforms in the system. He says he plans to protest at Jantar Mantar from August 21 and wants people supporting him on social media to back his campaign the same way they supported the Cockroach Janta Party.

Dubey also claims that the CJP protests were not representative of NEET aspirants. His basis for this? He says he spoke to 15-20 people at the protest and did not find a single NEET student among them.
