The buzz surrounding the student union elections in Delhi University is palpable. Across campus, student organisations and their candidates are making promises and soliciting votes.
However, the mood around these elections is different in certain respects. For starters, the national discourse around the poor state of education has reached new heights following the recent Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests against the NEET-UG paper leak at Jantar Mantar, which ultimately led to the education minister's resignation.
To understand the prevailing mood among students at the university ahead of the election, we visited the Delhi University campus.
