A day after he was sacked from the Delhi Cabinet, Kapil Mishra made sensational allegations against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday morning. Mishra claimed that on Friday he had personally seen Kejriwal accepting Rs two crore in cash, from health minister Satyender Jain.
“Jain told me he had struck a deal of Rs 50 crore for one of Kejriwal’s relatives,” Mishra told reporters at Rajghat. The former minister further added, when I told Kejriwal about this, he said ‘This is false and you should have faith in me.’
His allegations didn’t stop here. Later in the night, in a presser, the former Delhi water minister named Ashish Talwar and Vibhav Patel. “I am going to give two names to ACB [Anti-Corruption Bureau] in connection with tanker scam, Ashish Talwar and Vibhav Patel,” said Mishra.
Mishra is going to meet the officials of Delhi ACB at 11 in the morning today. Both Talwar and Patel are considered close aides of AAP supremo Kejriwal.
Senior AAP leader Kumar Vishwas had tweeted that Kejriwal and corruption were unimaginable. Mishra responded to this tweet saying:
