The Economic Times has taken down Ruchir Joshi’s perfectly harmless October 9 article, “Returning a national award shows Zuckerberg-hugged India in a bad light”, on writers returning their Sahitya Akademi awards. (Here is the cached version.) Meanwhile, on Sunday, October 11, itself as many as nine writers returned their awards, taking the final toll to 15.
