On Monday morning, October 12, a bunch of Shiv Sena men attacked Sudheendra Kulkarni, the chairman of Observer Research Foundation: they threw black paint on his face and clothes. Shiv Sena has been protesting the launch of the book Neither A Hawk, Nor A Dove by former Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud in Mumbai, which is to be moderated by Kulkarni in the evening today. Kulkarni, who has served as the media advisor to the former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, however, maintained his calm and gave interviews and even addressed a press conference welcoming Mahmud.
