Life is hard and not everyone has the grit of Napoleon. Attracting the opposite sex is even harder if you don’t have Napoleon’s grit, and only have his height.
At 4 feet and 10 inches tall Mohammed Khalid, harasser of over 1,500 women on WhatsApp, was on a campaign of Napoleonic proportions. He sent abusive and obscene messages and videos to them. Khalid told the police that this was his “idea of revenge” for having been rejected by women because of his height, said the police.
A worker in a bag shop in Sadar Bazar, Khalid was arrested on July 6, after one of his victims filed a complaint in Ashok Vihar Police Station on May 30. When the team of Delhi Police officers –Inspectors Virender Kadyan and R K Maan, Sub-Inspectors Sanjeev Arora, S Sandeep Kumar, Parveen Sharma and Naveen Kumar, and Constable Vinay Kumar — under Assistant Commissioner of Police, Vikas Kumar arrested Khalid, they found contact numbers of as many as 2,100 women in his phone.
To get these contacts, Khalid dialled random numbers and in case a woman answered, he would save the number. The contacts were filed under categories ‘A’, ‘A+’ and ‘A++’ after looking at their profile picture.
It seems fair to assume that Khalid’s lack of success with women wasn’t only because of his height
