Remember, the famous Spice Girls and their “Wannabe” video? The song just got a feminist revamp Project Everyone, a campaign founded by filmmaker Richard Curtis that aims to achieve The Global Goals for sustainable development for everyone across the globe by 2030, has launched this version of the video on Youtube. Apart from its launch on YouTube, the video will run in movie theatres internationally thanks to the deal with SAWA, the global cinema advertising association, reported The Guardian.

The video features artists from across the globe – India, Nigeria, South Africa, United Kingdom, United States of America and Canada – and includes Jacqueline Fernandes, Seyi Shay, Gigi Lamayne, Moneoa, London based trio MO, Taylor Hatala and Larsen Thompson. In it, the artists in the video point to what they really want – quality education for all girls, ending violence against girls, wiping out child marriage and equal pay for equal work. The video then urges viewers to share a photo of themselves using the hashtag #WhatIReallyReallyWant. Surprisingly, the hashtag isn’t trending in India yet, but we live in hope.
