Delhi University has released its first cut-off list for undergraduate admissions 2017 today. It appears that DU, known for its unbelievably high cut-offs, has seen a dip this year.

The minimum first cut-off for Economic (Hons) and B.Com (Hons) for Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) is 97.75 per cent. These numbers have seen a dip of .25 percentage for Commerce and .50 percentage for Economic when compared to 2016.

Hansraj College has kept the cut-off for B.Com (Hons) at 97.5 per cent, for Economics (Hons) it’s at 97.35 per cent. For BA English (Hons) the cut-off is 97 per cent. Interestingly, the cut-off for BA Programme has witnessed a spike of one per cent from last year.

B. Com (Hons) cut-off for Ramjas College is 97.5 per cent and Economics (Hons) is 97.5 per cent. For BA English (Hons) the minimum cut-off is 96.5 per cent.

DU prepares the cut-offs on the basis of average percentage in best four subjects. The subjects have been divided into three categories — C1, C2 and others.

Students who have cleared these cut-offs can take admission in their desired colleges tomorrow, that is, June 24. The admission for first cut-off will go on until June 28.
