After three consecutive hurricanes have submerged Houston, destroyed the Florida Keys and Puerto Rico, a fourth one, Hurricane Nate, has made its landfall in the  United States on Saturday near the mouth of the Mississippi River, as a Category 1 system.

As a precaution, the governors of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi have declared states of emergency ahead of the storm, and counties along the coast issued curfews and ordered evacuations. Some took to Twitter to warn residents about the upcoming hurricane.

According to reports, a second landfall is likely on the Mississippi coast in a few hours after the eye of the storm passes over the Chandeleur Sound. A category 1 storm, Hurricane Nate is likely to have maximum sustained winds of 85 mph.
