BJP leader T Raja Singh is in the news yet again for making bizarre comments. According to Telangana legislator Singh, those who don’t join the RSS are not Hindus.

“I request all of you to join the nearest branch of the RSS. Any Hindu who doesn’t join thee RSS isn’t a true Hindu and is thus incapable of serving the nation,” said Singh addressing an election rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Neemuch district.

The Goshamahal legislator added that the “RSS is a factory” which produces icons such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

Known for his controversial comments, Singh left no stone unturned at the rally. He went on to say that Muslims in the country are becoming “anti-nationals because of Owaisis [AIMIM leaders – Akbaruddin Owaisi and Asaduddin Owaisi ]. He further said: “They should understand that these brothers are playing dirty politics and will continue to do so. People must not fall into their trap.”

The BJP lawmaker wants Hindus to “create awareness against love jihad and paid conversions of tribal people.”

It is important to note that the leader has a habit of making such comments, and the BJP so far has turned a blind eye to his statements. In November 2017, Singh had threatened to burn down Telangana cinema halls that dared to screen Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat.
