"Abhinandan, as a subscriber, I at least expect you to do basic research before voicing your opinion and not based on just hearsay."
Hi guys,
The media must be free and fair, uninfluenced by corporate or state interests. That's why you, the public, need to pay to keep news free.
ContributeContinuing with the criticism from last week Hafta.
I get scared when in political groups, a Newslaundry piece starts getting quoted for defending AAP, and the fear of Newslaundry becoming like any other news organisation.
I have been listening to Newslaundry from more than three years; after Anand Ranganathan left/sabbatical from Newslaundry, I see the discussion is having a clear leaning towards everything which is anti-government. Yes, I am a BJP supporter but not a bhakt. I don’t mind Newslaundry criticising BJP, but it is not correct to bash without any research. Madhu ma’am also is critical of BJP but at least she does research before doing it. But, Abhinandan, as a subscriber, I at least expect you to do basic research before voicing your opinion and not based on just hearsay. I am listening to Hafta, not a paan shop conversation.
You can do a poll on your website after Anand Ranganathan left, has the researched discussion gone down on Hafta and you will have the answer.
We all love Newslaundry and will continue to support.
Thanks,
Abhishek Modi.
General elections are around the corner, and Newslaundry and The News Minute have ambitious plans together to focus on the issues that really matter to the voter. From political funding to battleground states, media coverage to 10 years of Modi, choose a project you would like to support and power our journalism.
Ground reportage is central to public interest journalism. Only readers like you can make it possible. Will you?
