Episode 195 of Hafta was simply one of the best in recent times. The passion in individuals participating came across clearly and was allowed to get through without cutting in. Sunetra’s presence elevated this to another level. The attention to nuance in each story is much appreciated.

The point about not hurting the #MeToo movement while it gathers steam needs to be heard more in public discourse. Madhu clarifying the inclusiveness of the #MeToo movement to Abhinandan was a delight. Grown men can still be subjected to harassment and it does not depend just on physical might. The same power dynamics we talk of between a superior and a reportee is applicable irrespective of age and gender.

Also #stoppleasingloonies should be trending.

Regards,

Wilson Paul
