Hi there,
I have a question for the panel. I hope the Hafta 204 panel has all the regulars—I am looking at an age group criteria, my question will explain why.
We are now confident that Fake (actual not the Trump kind)/adulterated/planted news has always existed and is not a new phenomenon. I would like to know from a trans-generational panel as to when (at what age) they became aware of the following:
1) Loan waivers are not good for the economy as it burdens the economy further
2) Subsidies are not good for the economy
3) We live in a patriarchal society and there is a lot wrong with it
4) The Indian Army has committed atrocities and we need to accept it
Well, I am just trying to gauge perspectives from different eras. For example, when Madhu and Raman were in their 30s, did they think loan waivers were a good thing. If that’s true, was it a lack of awareness or the factors of the day that made it look good?
Anyways I hope my questions made sense. Just to expand: for a conservative, what is good today will be good tomorrow and will be good forever. For a progressive, what is good today, may not be good tomorrow, and definitely, the future will come up with a solution better than today.
Regards,
Dhiraj
