The trailer for Wes Anderson's latest upcoming movie dropped this week, but far more exciting is this letter the legendary Steely Dan wrote to Anderson in 2006. Donald Fagen and Walter Becker each offered up a title song for Anderson's next work, writing: "you must be aware that your career as an auteur is mirrored in the lives of your beloved characters as they struggle in vain to duplicate early glories".
