As coronavirus infections surge, hospitals across the capital are struggling for want of adequate oxygen supply.
Private hospitals in North Delhi's Rohini are struggling to keep Covid patients alive due to the shortage of medical oxygen in the city. Some have asked relatives of the patients admitted there to arrange oxygen cylinders on their own, a few have reached out to the local administration for help.
"If you can help us, just bring oxygen for us," Dr Mayur Rathod, his voice trembling, pleaded. He’s the nodal officer at Saroj Superspeciality Hospital in Rohini.
