Actor Siddharth has alleged that he and his family have received over 500 calls of abuse, rape and death threats over the last 24 hours. In a tweet, Siddharth claimed that his number was leaked by members of Tamil Nadu BJP and the state’s BJP IT cell.

“I will not shut up. Keep trying,” tweeted the actor, tagging prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah.
He also posted a screenshot from Facebook which he said was one of the many social media posts by BJP Tamil Nadu members leaking his number yesterday and telling people to attack and harass him.
“We might survive Covid. When will we survive these people?’ the actor asked.
