Narendra Modi’s cabinet reshuffle was the flavour of the week. Harsh Vardhan was dropped as India’s health minister and TV anchors took their knives out; Navika Kumar, Arnab Goswami and fellow usual suspects told us someone had finally been held accountable for the death and destruction caused by the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic. Silly us for having watched Times Now and Republic TV and believing that it was the state governments that mishandled the second wave.

Meanwhile, a job posting in the New York Times created quite a kerfuffle. While it’s understandable why some people may have a problem with it, we draw the line at Arnab giving lectures on ethics and cleaning up journalism. Wonder what a Republic job posting might look like? We have you covered.
