Newslaundry and Internet Freedom Foundation bring together news professionals and legal minds to map the media and regulatory framework in contemporary India.
As normal life picks up pace after the disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Newslaundry is back with in-person events for you.
To begin with, we are partnering with the Internet Freedom Foundation to host FoE Con 2022.
What is FoE Con, you ask? It is a day-long forum that brings together news professionals, jurists and legal luminaries to map the media and regulatory framework in contemporary India.
The first edition of FoE Con is on September 10 and it's packed with a succession of exciting sessions.
The media must be free and fair, uninfluenced by corporate or state interests. That's why you, the public, need to pay to keep news free.
ContributeThe forum will be held in Multipurpose Hall, Kamladevi Complex, India International Centre, New Delhi.
If you are not in Delhi, you can catch the sessions later on YouTube and NL Podcast later.
Write to support@foe-con.in if you have any questions.
General elections are around the corner, and Newslaundry and The News Minute have ambitious plans together to focus on the issues that really matter to the voter. From political funding to battleground states, media coverage to 10 years of Modi, choose a project you would like to support and power our journalism.
Ground reportage is central to public interest journalism. Only readers like you can make it possible. Will you?
