The big news of the week is the rapid spread of Covid in China. We look at China’s zero-Covid policy, why it failed and what’s really happening in our neighbouring country with the big Omicron spike. Should India be worried? Meanwhile, Arnab Goswami, Navika Kumar and the usual suspects on primetime questioned Rahul Gandhi once again and wondered why he should proceed with the Bharat Jodo Yatra amid the Covid surge in China. 

The week started off with a bizarre show on Times Now Navbharat that linked Messi’s spectacular World Cup win to Kota suicides. We look at why Sushant Sinha’s show was an example of extreme clickbait.
