The pop culture podcast that isn’t afraid to pop the bubble.
While discussing Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse:
Nainika: Everything in the film looks so tender, so well done. Perhaps because it is an animated film and not a live-action scenario...I loved it!
Abbas: Wow! I think we can end the show right now. This doesn’t happen every day. Nainika doesn’t usually like superhero films, but today she’s recommending one.
Nainika bursts out laughing.
Abbas: I’m pleasantly surprised because I thought I would have to explain Marvel lore to an uninterested Nainika on the other side.
Nainika: No, no! I’m a huge fan of anything that looks visually good and this one blew me away.
This and a whole lot of stuff awful and awesome as Abbas Momin and Nainika Singh Rathore review the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the series School of Lies, Punit Pania’s standup special No Country For Moderation, the controversial Zomato advertisement, and Foo Fighters’ new album.
