Month after exit from Bharat24, Rubika Liyaquat joins News18 India

The anchor quit Bharat24 last month, five months after joining as vice-president.

Over a month after quitting Hindi news channel Bharat24, TV news anchor Rubika Liyaquat has joined News18 India as consulting editor, she announced today on social media platform X.

The anchor served as Bharat24's vice-president for five months until December, when she quit the channel. Prior to joining the Jagdish Chandra channel, she worked with ABP News for five years.

Originally from Udaipur in Rajasthan, Liyaquat began her career with Live India channel. She also worked with News24 and Zee News.

The firebrand anchor is a usual suspect for bizarre observations, banal questions, and toeing the government line. She has featured on Newsance earlier for setting new lows of reporting in Israel and her antics on her shows on Bharat24
