On the issue of Maratha reservations, Prateek explains the dynamics of caste identities in Maharashtra and its implications for the state. Ravikant discusses the decline in public jobs and educational facilities in the context of the government’s efforts towards de-reservation of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe posts, and the demands for OBC status by “relatively materially privileged groups”.
