India aims to reduce carbon emissions but coal emissions remain the biggest contributors and also a significant source of air pollution in the country. 

What has the coal ministry done to tackle the challenge? On Monday, Newslaundry visited the ministry’s office in Delhi, where the air monitor pegged the PM2.5 and PM10 levels at around 41 and 47, respectively.
